Operating Principles

Simplicity

Nearly five thousand years ago, the Egyptians designed a perfect form for the tombs of their pharaohs. Three thousand years later, on the other side of the world, the Mayans arrived at the same form in the design of their temples. The pyramid, with its simple perfection, is like a collective dream of mankind, an archetypically perfect shape that cannot be improved upon.

So timeless is its style, that when French President François Mitterand commissioned I.M. Pei to design a new entrance to the Louvre, the architect chose to use a pyramid executed in glass.

This demonstrates a principle that Atlas Meetings + Motivation applies over and over again in its own work for clients: the most effective solution is often the simplest.
