In 2001, with a vision of care-free travel clothing that is fabulous and fashionable, Atlas Travel CEO Elaine Osgood launched a boutique inside her downtown Lexington travel agency. The concept was embraced by the community and customers appreciated the convenience of planning a vacation and picking up a travel bag at the same time.

Four years later, the agency moved to larger space and branded their boutique as Savvy Travel Shop. The expanded space allowed for better visibility for both sides of the business and the Savvy Travel Shop assortment grew to include an ever-changing selection of high-fashion apparel for women on the go, as well as select luggage, travel bags and hard-to-find travel accessories.
