40 years of keeping travel human .
Atlas Travel was founded in 1986 by Elaine Osgood, who set out to build a company that combined her passion for servicing others with her love of exploring the world.
Meet Elaine
Before launching the company, Elaine built her career in social services, an experience that would later define the way she approached business. She believed that travel worked best when it is built around people, a principle she described as a culture of caring.
And nearly four decades later, while our experience has deepened and our technology has evolved, that belief remains embedded into the fabric of how our organization operates. Atlas blends the standards of a traditional corporate structure with a philosophy rooted in employee empowerment, personal responsibility, and integrity. Simply put, our employees, customers, and communities are at the heart of everything we do.

Travel that evolves with your company .
Travel management has changed dramatically over the years. Technology has accelerated the booking process, data has become central to program management, and organizations now require greater visibility and control over travel spend.
At the same time, many companies outgrow their travel tools. What usually begins with a simple corporate card or a booking app often evolves into the need for a more structured program, one that can manage spend, ensure traveler safety, and maintain visibility across the organization. Atlas was designed to support that progression without forcing companies to rebuild their travel infrastructure along the way.
Wherever a company is in its journey, our goal is simple: provide a platform and partnership that grows alongside our travelers.
Today, Atlas proudly supports companies of all sizes to get the most out of their travel programs. We bridge the gap between two extremes: the slick, AI-only apps that leave you stranded in a storm, and the legacy agencies that are stuck in the past.
Our Commitment
Beyond supporting travel programs, Atlas is committed to making a positive impact on our people, communities, and the environment. Atlas is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). These recognitions reflect our longstanding commitment to leadership, inclusion, and responsible business practices. We also proudly support workplace equity and diversity through Elaine’s commitment to the CEO Pledge, a promise made by CEO’s to manage workplace inclusion as a core business responsibility as a part of the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion initiative.
